ABOUT ROBIN

I began my photography career in the early 90's running a one hour photo lab on the coast of Maine.  I then began photographing people and life's celebrations up and down the east coast. The past ten years I have become passionate about documenting environmental and social justice actions in order to help expose the injustice that is so often over looked in our communities.

I've spent a great deal of my life exploring and photographing our vast diverse planet and it's people and I intend to continue to do so. I may be available to document your celebrations, adventures or demonstrations as well. All you need to do is contact me to discuss the possibilities. farrinphotography@gmail.com

I am presently residing in Arizona, taking in the beauty of the desert and relishing in the completion of a three month artist residency at the Kingman ArtHub where I compiled numerious images and statements of individuals who generiously shared what repsect means to them. My project is titled ARTiculating Respect, which you can view examples of on this website.

My intention for this website is to share in the beauty I am so fortunate to be exposed to and to connect with those of you who are intersted in hiring me to document what you too may love and appreciate by offering my professional services at a very reasonable rate.

WHAT THEY HAD TO SAY ...

Heidi Reidell of Reidell Gallery

I employed Robin as a photographer to document the work of an internationally known sericulturist who was exhibiting her work in my gallery. As the professional that Robin is, she arrived promptly, dealty respectfully with the subject, took exquisite care with the delcate display materials, and prompltly delivered curated photographs that helped illustrate an unusual career, making it understandable to a new audience.

I am proud to own some of Robin's photography. Each session I offered an invitational show on varing themes, at the end of the summer season. Robin's work arrived ready to hang, appropriate to the theme and proved a highlight of each invitational show.

Robin will see a need and fill it, identify a problem and uncomplainingly resolve it. She will encounter a stranger or someone in need and meet the need appropriately and compassionately. she is self contained, adventurous, of good cheer, a true humanist. Her success as a portrait photographer results from her generous open spirit, which reflects back on her through the lenes she employs with great skill.

                                                                                                                                             Respectfully,

                                                                                                                                             Heidi Reidell
